The Pobjoy Mint began to produce the Silver Cat Coins for Isle of Man in 1988.  The Cat Coin Collection has become one of the most popular coin series. The obverse of the coins features the official portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and the reverse design chooses a different cat each year, such as the Manx, Persian, Norwegian Forest and so on. The Cat Gold Coins are struck in pure .9999 fine gold in 1/25, 1/10, 1/5, 1/2, and 1 ounce sizes.  They are minted in limited quantities.  If you wish to wear the cat coin as jewelry, we have some 14K gold bezels to match them.  These gold coins have continued to attract collectors, bullion buyers and cat lovers with their beauty and quality since their inception.
